Israel's Rejection of God

Paul, like God, loves the nation of Israel. They Missed the Point of the Law of Moses! When God told Israel that the reward for keeping the law would be life and the loss of reward would be death, e literally meant their life, not salvation! The purpose of God in giving Israel the Law of Moses was to be the Schoolmaster.
It could never be obtained by keeping the Law; it exposes us as sinners before God.
